Young children learn new skills
and information at amazing rates. When learning opportunities
increase, there is a greater mastery of skills leading to higher
levels of school success.

In concert with these school
districts, Children, Inc. will offer the other half of their
preschool day plus extended care before and after the school day to
accommodate working parents. When school is not in session,
Children, Inc. will continue to offer full day preschool with
extended care during the summer, holidays, snow days, and
professional days.
The curriculum will be aligned
with each school's curriculum and with the Kentucky Early Childhood
Standards. The classrooms will be well-equipped with high quality
learning materials and children will interact each day with
credentialed, well-trained staff.
These programs will earn 3 STAR
ratings. By using existing school facilities the cost to families
will be greatly reduced. The partnership between Children, Inc. and
the school districts is an exciting leap forward in the urgent need
to prepare all children to succeed in school.
The Children, Inc. Early Learning
Centers are open during the hours that most
working families need- Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.
Enrollment is open to 3, 4 and 5
year olds who can be successful in a group setting with a
teacher:student ratio of 1:10. Priority enrollment is given to
children enrolled in each district’s preschool program.
Sliding scale fees are available to qualifying families through
Kentucky’s Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) and the United Way
of Greater Cincinnati.
