Finding that special place where your child can feel nurtured and where you can have peace of mind is important. Children, Inc. realizes the value of quality care and we strive to provide opportunities for your child's growth and development. We want you to feel confident, knowing that your child is well cared for and happy. There are so many reasons to choose a Children, Inc. Early Education and Care Center. All of Children, Inc.’s programs and centers for preschool age children provide beautiful learning environments, state-of-the-art playgrounds, a strong educational emphasis, and literacy-rich environments. Our credentialed teachers focus on your child’s social and emotional development in a small class size with low teacher to child ratios. A child’s ability to learn and develop is also bolstered by good health and exercise. Children, Inc. offers programs to promote healthy children and families, including free annual vision and hearing screenings, a dental health program and healthy meals and snacks approved by the USDA Food Program.

Research shows the skill sets that are paramount to school readiness include social-emotional skills. Children, Inc. promotes this social-emotional development in our centers by using nationally recognized curriculum to assess and develop social skills and by building resilience in young children through helping children develop secure attachments to adults, emotional self-control and a sense of initiative.

Literacy skills and an interest in books and reading are also essential elements for school readiness. Children, Inc. has developed a literacy program that includes:

  • Development in the 6 areas of early literacy (visual discrimination, auditory discrimination, oral language, writing, phonemic awareness, and reading)

  • Literacy-rich classrooms with materials that promote reading Cozy areas that encourage children to curl up with a book.

Children, Inc. centers introduce children to the arts, music and dance and encourage interest and participation with a Music Specialist and Dance Instructor on staff, artists in residence, a variety of art materials and musical instruments as well as dramatic play props available in each classroom.

Children, Inc. provides the largest number of 3 STAR centers in Kentucky and many of our programs are nationally accredited. This is quality that you can count on. Read more about STARs and Accreditation
