If you are looking for year-round care, consider Children, Inc.’s Montessori and Early Learning Academy.   The Montessori and Early Learning Academy opened in June 2005 when St. Ann's Child Development Center that offered traditional education combined with Montessori at Fifth Street that offered Montessori education.  The new center, Montessori and Early Learning Academy, offers the same high caliber program as other Children, Inc. facilities, as well as a well-equipped facility with spectacular indoor and outdoor classrooms (playgrounds), including play equipment for toddlers.

When parents must be away from their children, it is important that caregivers be qualified adults who are loving, responsible and nurturing.  Children, Inc. staff- from Lead Teachers to classroom aides, truly enjoy children and talk with, laugh with, and listen to each child.  Because they are well trained and receive full benefits, staff make long-term commitments to the program.

Children, Inc. Montessori and Early Learning Academy introduces children to the arts and encourages interest and participation with a Music Specialist and Dance Instructor on staff, artists in residence, a variety of art materials, and musical instruments and dramatic play props available in each classroom.

A child’s ability to learn and develop is bolstered by good health and exercise.  Children, Inc. offers programs to promote healthy children and families, including free annual vision and hearing screenings, a dental health program, sand and water play opportunities and healthy meals and snacks approved by the USDA Food Program.

Located on the western fringe of Covington, Children, Inc.’s Montessori and Early Learning Academy center has both traditional and Montessori classrooms for children starting at age two, and offers a full-day kindergarten program.  Tuition assistance is offered to qualifying families, based on income, family size and availability.
