Children, Inc. provides full day preschool Three STAR Ratedand kindergarten in collaboration with Walton-Verona Elementary. This preschool program has achieved a 4 STAR Rating and National Accreditation placing it in the top 1% of centers in the state of Kentucky. This preschool is open to children living in the Walton Verona School District. This center is open to children ages three, four and five that are potty trained and can function in a group setting with a ratio of one teacher to every ten children. Other quality aspects of this program include:

  • Convenient and year round including snow days and professional days
  • Provides developmentally appropriate environment, quality learning materials
  • Provides curriculum aligned with the Department of Education’s Kentucky Early Childhood Standards
  • Provides Individual lesson plans
  • Promotes Social – Emotional Development using a nationally recognized curriculum to assess and develop social skills
